Our Approach

Environmental Awareness Gap

The Problem: Rural and marginalized communities are often left out of climate conversations, making environmental issues seem distant or irrelevant, even though these communities are among the most affected.
Our Solution:
We provide environmental education through workshops, advocacy, and outreach, making sustainability relatable and empowering communities to take action.

Pollution & Waste in Our Community

The Problem: Litter, illegal dumping, and pollution are harming our neighborhoods, creating health hazards and environmental damage.
Our Solution:
We organize community cleanups, promote responsible waste management, and encourage sustainable practices to reduce pollution and protect our local environment.

The Problem: Lake City was once one of South Carolina’s most prosperous agricultural communities, but today, much of that green legacy has been lost.
Our Solution: We work to restore our community’s connection to the land by advocating for green spaces, sustainable land use, and community-led environmental initiatives that honor our roots and build a greener future.
